It will never be the same

The world has many replaceable things. Nobody will bat an eye to accept them: a new fridge, a new computer, a new phone, etc. There are larger things that are more difficult to come to terms with, like homes, schools, and places of work that may change. Though it may be hard and take time, it is possible to come to terms with the absence of these things in your life.

However, in my experience, there is one thing that can never be fully mended. Once it is broken, it is nearly impossible to bring it back to its original form. TRUST is its name.

You can lose this privilege in the blink of an eye. In my case, it is trusting those closest to you. I had spent countless hours with people I thought were my ride or die, but I found out the hard way that they simply wanted to see me burn. Once you deceive or are deceiving the trust given to you, it can never REALLY be as it was. There will always be a shadow of doubt lurking at every turn when choosing to trust the said person.

It's hard forgetting the sight pain caused when you lose someone's trust. It is visible in their eyes as they look deep into your soul, but they don't see you anymore. They feel as though the person they once were had been lost years ago, but they have only now just realized this.

Try your best to protect the precious privilege you have been given.
